YOUTH PARLIAMENT COMPETITION IN THE UNIVERSITIES/COLLEGES

Introduction

                        As a part of Celebrations of Golden Jubilee year of India's Independence, this Ministry has launched the scheme of Youth Parliament for the first time in the Universities/Colleges all over the country with the cooperation of University Grants Commission and Association of Indian Universities during 1997-98. First National Youth Parliament Competition, 1997-98 for the Universities and Colleges was held among 13 Universities/Colleges from 23.12.97 to 25.3.98.
